We are currently searching for a Quality Control and Fulfillment Associate to join a team of smart creatives further expanding our ability to drive brand growth through product quality assurance and on time and accurate delivery of our product. 

This role will report to the Director of Customer Service and Fulfillment to support both product quality auditing and product fulfillment execution. The role is responsible for executing the inspection and testing of inbound products; picking, packing and shipping B2B and DTC orders; and evaluating returned goods to ensure product saleability. This is a hybrid role that will play a critical role in upholding KREWE brand standards. Time spent in each area of the job will vary depending on the needs of the business. Agility, a keen attention to detail and a strong work ethic will play a critical part in the success of this role.

This role is based in our New Orleans Headquarters 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Quality inspections on KREWE products to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. Inspections will apply to inbound products, returned goods, and will include a variety of existing and new product categories. 
  • Create, update and maintain quality data and inspection activity in a timely manner and document within NetSuite, Excel, Monday.com or other identified QC system as required.
  • Report to management on QC Inspection results and KPI’s as required.
  • Create and maintain files for inspection standards for current and future products.
  • Create and maintain an organized QC work area such that products are easily and readily identifiable. Maintains standards of organization and cleanliness throughout all workspaces. Keeps all shared and personal areas clean and tidy. 
  • Ensure all returned goods are restocked systematically and restored to sellable condition according to brand standards. 
  • Ensure that defective and unusable products are documented and dispositioned properly in accordance with damaged goods procedures.
  • Pick and pack e-commerce, wholesale and store restock orders accurately and efficiently according to KREWE brand guidelines. Ability to read a pick ticket or order. Pick/pack correct product(s) quickly and accurately
  • Prepare packaging containers for all order types. Ensure quality standards are maintained on all outgoing orders
  • Product Knowledge and Location Expertise: Ability to identify products accurately by sight and barcode; awareness of all product locations (forward pick and backstock locations). 
  • Executes other fulfillment-related duties as needed: ensures all outbound shipments are picked up daily; takes part in inventory hard counts and cycle counts; executes bin restocks.
  • Communicates with team members calmly and effectively. Communicates any questions to the manager in a timely manner.  
  • Follows all company safety standards.
  • Assist in special projects as needed within the department depending on business needs.
 

Requirements:

  • Desire to be proactive and adhere to brand standards in a tedious role
  • Must have keen attention to detail and a strong regard for company quality standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, documentation and reporting skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Basic math skills 
  • Ability to understand product drawings, specifications and visual work instructions
  • Ability to understand and use basic inspection tools
  • Ability to utilize various software systems at once
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office, particularly word processing and spreadsheets
  • Familiarity with ERP software such as NetSuite a plus
  • Familiarity with automated returns program a plus
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time
  • May be required to work extended hours during high volume periods. Bachelor’s degree in related field a plus
